Examination, examination, treatment and preventive health services for children and young people aged 0-18 are provided by specialist doctors. In the Department of Child Health and Diseases in our hospital; Thanks to the special section created for children in the polyclinic waiting room, both children and their parents spend a more comfortable and comfortable waiting time. Polyclinic rooms are specially arranged to ensure that children are examined comfortably and safely. There is a breastfeeding room with suitable equipment for nursing mothers, and a separate room with a milking machine arranged to help mothers with breastfeeding problems and to facilitate milking. One of the most important goals of our Department of Child Health and Diseases is the importance of breastfeeding in the development of the baby. In this direction, trainings and seminars are organized. In addition, expectant mothers and new mothers are informed about newborn baby care and nutrition.
2. Inpatient service
Our services and rooms are arranged with the safety of children in mind. Considering the mental development of the inpatients, a suitable room arrangement has been created so that they can be with their parents as much as possible. Physicians evaluate their patients at least twice a day. Each attempt is made by informing the patient's family and obtaining their consent. When deemed necessary, treatment approaches are evaluated in consultation with pediatric sub-branch specialists.
3. Emergency room
We have pediatricians for emergency pediatric services that continue 24 hours a day. All kinds of examinations and exchange of opinions are carried out immediately in patients who require hospitalization. Some problems that require observation (such as asthma attack, bronchiolitis, mild fluid loss due to diarrhea, fever) are monitored in the emergency room for a short time. In the emergency, medical support is received rapidly for problems involving sub-branch specialists or pediatric surgery.
4. Newborn baby room
There is a pediatrician in all deliveries in our hospital and the baby is first examined. Temporary problems that can be seen in the first hours after birth are usually resolved in the baby's room. After birth, babies are followed for 24 hours in the observation room with their mothers for breastfeeding under the supervision of our nurses, and they are discharged after the screening tests, routine controls and examinations that should be done within the first 72 hours after birth under the control of our specialist pediatricians. Blood samples are taken from each baby in terms of hypothyroidism, phenylketonuria and metabolic diseases, and all babies are screened for a hearing test.
5. Neonatal intensive care unit
In our newborn unit in our center, care is provided for premature birth, multiple pregnancy, baby of diabetic mother, large baby, baby who swallowed meconium (his own feces) in the womb, babies with difficult births, newborn screening tests, phototherapy treatments for babies with jaundice, starting from the 24th gestational week in our center. is implemented.
